Have the Zodiac Signs Changed?
The recent buzz in the internet has been the change in Zodiac Signs due to change in earths alignment. After hearing this news, many readers have mailed me their concern and asked whether it makes any significant change in their zodiac or even in their life!
What is the Zodiac?
The circle of space surrounding the earth and measuring 360 degrees of celestial longitude is referred to as the Zodiac. It is an imaginary belt in the heavens. It is a 15 degree wide in which the planets travel. The Zodiac is divided into 12 equal parts called signs or solar mansions and each extends exactly into 30 degrees.
Some astronomical society has come up with a news that there is gonna be a change in earths alignment for a short period, and hence there is gonna be a inclusion of new sign called Ophiuchus which comes under the ecliptic belt. Like most astrologers agree, i too firmly reject this news as hoax and some publicity or marketing stunt by some individual organization.
The guy who came up with this news hardly knew about Astrology or astrological concepts. In one my post called Mayan Prophecy 2012 nearly a year ago, i have mentioned about the 13th sign Ophiuchus. This sign does not come under earths heavenly belt, and this sign bears no significance on living beings and does not affect them. Because it is attributed to more esoteric and spiritual lives after death.
More over, the earths heavenly belt is a constant one, Though the movement of earth in ecliptic axis deviates from its normal course it restores itself to its original position. This fact is known by sages before 5000 years ago itself. The zodiac sign that’s under debate is the tropical zodiac sign or sun signs. Whereas, the east follows moon sign or the position of moon in the zodiac during the birth time.
This is just an astronomical event which is being hoaxed and confused by some vested interest. I have happen to read articles where they speak of change in constellations and blah blah… I pity them for their ignorance in astrology. So avoid and ignore it.
