Forensic astrology may not be a field of science that the police community is willing to embrace, but there are a good number of groups out there that have found astrology offers answers into the ‘whys’ of serial killers. Understanding the zodiac signs of a serial killer is just one more tool that can be used to help track down and explain what goes wrong with a person in order to turn them into a vicious killing machine.
Most Common Serial Killer Zodiac Signs
The top serial killer zodiac signs are Capricorn, Leo, and Sagittarius, but just as you can’t look at your whole astrological path through just the sun sign, you also can’t limit serial killer zodiacs to such a simply breakdown either. In fact, there are serial killers to be found beneath every sign! So what other commonalities in the zodiac are there? Many people point to the mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces and express that the mutability is a part of mix, but that doesn’t explain why only one of those is in the top three when it comes to number of serial killers born beneath the sign. Sure, Gemini might have a charming outer persona that hides a darker inside, and yea Pisces could fall so far into their self-pity that they lash out, but neither of them have the ritualistic brutality of Capricorn killers or the almost joyful sadism of a Leo killer.
Another sign that can be found in the charts of a few different killers is a tense relationship with Pluto but a supportive relationship with Mercury. This isn’t too surprising, after all while Pluto can bring about positive change it’s still the planet that deals with death and psychologically repressed behaviors. A bad relationship with the planet can easily bring about a fixation with death. Meanwhile, the support of Mercury lends to a charming exterior – and the one thing everyone said about Ted Bundy was how charming he was, how they simply couldn’t believe such a well-behaved young man could be a killer and yet how many lives were ended at his hands?
An interesting deviation from numbers of killers beneath each sign is to look at the top serial killer zodiac signs. There may be more serial killers born as Capricorns but no one knows who they are. Conversely, Pisces has 5 very well known killers born beneath it: Dennis Rader, Aileen Wournos, Donald Henry Gaskins, John Wayne Gacy, and Richard Ramirez. Leo might be known for their sadistic killings but the killers born under Gemini are Peter Sutcliffe, Jeffrey Dahmer, and David Berkowitz! Aquarius killers include Gary Ridgway, Robert Hansen and Luis Alfredo Garavito. Only Sagittarius holds its place in third with Ted Bundy, Dennis Nilsen and Rosemary West.
Remember, however, that just because you’ve been born under one of these signs or are in a relationship with someone born under one of these signs it doesn’t mean anything about them can or will go wrong. There is a lot more to the psychology of a serial killer than their zodiac sign. If you suspect that you may not be safe in your relationship you should take steps to leave but don’t make a determination of someone’s personality and worth based on their zodiac similarity to a serial killer.
