The year of the dragon occurs every twelve years and the next year of the dragon will be in 2024 then again in 2036 and so on. If you were born in the years 1928, 1940, 1952, 1864, 1976, 1988, 2000, and 2012 then you were born during the year of the dragon. This is an important piece of your Chinese horoscope, though certainly not the only piece. Remember, the determination of your astrological animal in Chinese astrology is based on the Chinese New Year. If you were born in January or February in a year of the dragon, then you will want to make sure you were born after the Chinese new year for that year or you will actually be a part of the previous year.
