Akashic records are believed to be a collection, like a library, of all the thoughts, events and emotions of every person who has ever lived in the history of the world. They are like a super computer and only accessible through the astral plane. They are more than just a store house, they are an interactive archive affecting us in both our past lives, this life, and our future lives. The Akashic records connect every person on the planet to one another and are the inspiration for our dreams and our inventions. They serve as an unbiased collector of our collective consciousness and when we access them we can learn who we were, who we are, and gain insights into who we will become.
Akashic Records dating back to Biblical Times
The Akashic records have been mentioned in myth and folktale as far back as the writings of the Old Testament of the Bible. Almost all of the ancient peoples of the world, the Babylonians, the Hebrews and the Assyrians among them, held a belief in a celestial book that held all the knowledge of who they were as individuals both as physical and spiritual beings. Many consider the biblical Book of Life to be one of the Akashic records but they are not the same thing. Edgar Cayce, the psychic best known for his interactions with the Akashic records made this plain in a question and answer session in which he clearly defined that that Book of Life was the Book of God’s Remembrances and the Akashic records were the records of individuals from the dawn of creation. It may be easier to think of them as a thumbprint of our individual energies from the moment of creation, every thought, instinct, intention, or dream we’ve had are kept safe in these records.
The Importance of Your Name
Remember, that in many ancient cultures your name was as important as you yourself and in ancient Egypt removing a name was the same as wiping the person out of existence, but this cannot be done with the Akashic records. They are beyond our human interference. When our name is written in them we can never be removed from them. We lived, we existed, therefore we are written in the Akashic records.
Accessing the Akashic records used to be the realm of only trained occultists and psychics, but accessing them as a normal person is possible once you train your mind to let go and be open to the truths you may learn. You must be open to the spiritual world, able to let the records speak to you even if their truth makes you uncomfortable. You must be in a place where you can accept both the good and bad in your past and learn from them so that you can change and affect your current life! Just because you learn something bad about yourself doesn’t mean you are a bad person, it means that your past may be a reason for hesitations in your current life and you must be aware of the past in order to move forward here in the present.
