Numerology and Hora
Hora is an important concept in astrology and numerology. sadly, most astro/numerology experts fail to address the importance of Hora to general public. One must know that Hora is the most crucial aspect in matters of event prediction. Each and every event that occurs in this world is result of Hora pattern of universe. By applying the concept of numerology and Hora together one can discover great mysteries of universe and their own self. In this post, i will give a brief intro about the concept of hora and its application in the fields of numerology and astrology.
As the Zodiac is divided into 12 equal parts called solar mansions or signs (from aries to pisces), each division will be appearing in the east, roughly for a duration of 2 hrs, In other words, the previous sign will appear to rise up in the heavens and the next sign will commence to rise nearly two hours after the previous sign began to rise. Hence the 12 signs rise in the east, roughly at interval of 2 hrs.
The Hindu astrologers/numerologist have subdivided each sign into two halves and called such divisions as Hora. Hence roughly one hour is needed for each Hora to rise in the east or pass through the Meridian. But that time, in India there was no minutes or seconds, there was only Ghatis, and day is consists of 60 ghatis. A hora will be about 2 and half ghatis.
Chaldeans – The Pioneers of Astrology and Numerology
Pharos in Chaldean star lord says: In remote and ancient Chaldean knowledge of the stars and the framing of the zodiac were the results of the Divinely Inspired Gifts to the wise men. The books of Genesis, The mosaic era, the babylonic and Hindu Empires were non existent when the chaldean sages laid down the axiom that ” Obstral Spheres exert continual influence on terrestrial life. Chaldeans followed the hora and found out the influence of planets over the affairs of the people. Also it said that certain hours are advantageous for certain matters and certain hours are unfortunate for some affairs. This method of prediction is called ‘Hora’.
We all immensely owe to the chaldeans for giving invaluable knowledge on astrology, numerology and other metaphysical sciences.
Both the Hindus and the Chaldeans do not follow the same calculations to find out which planet rules a particular time though the order of the planets is the same.
Lets have walk through on days which got its names from luminaries and other major planets.
Sunday – Sun, Monday – Moon, Wednesday – Mercury, Thursday – Jupiter, Friday – Venus and Saturday – Saturn. And as per numerology dates 1,10,19,28 are ruled by sun, 2,11,20,29 are ruled by moon, 3,12,21,30 are ruled by jupiter, 4,13,22,31 are ruled by uranus, 5,14,23, are ruled by mercury, 6,15,24 are ruled by venus, 7,16 and 25 are ruled by neptune, 8, 17 and 26 are ruled saturn, 9,18 and 27 are ruled by mars.
As i said before, the hindus ways of calculating the Hora was different than chaldean. The Indian Horo is given below
|From – To (TIME||SUN||MON||TUE||WED||THU||FRI||SAT|
But this method is a wrong approach, which sadly has been practiced by well known astrologers too. The very concept of astrological day is ignored in this method. The proper method to calculate the hora with accuracy even extending to milliseconds is given by chaldeans, the astrologers of our times knew this, but were limited by the technology. Now, with advent of internet which can calculate even complex calculations for rest of light years, we can emulate the chaldean way of calculation of hora very easily.
